Quality and Clinical Governance
Clinical Governance
Providing healthcare consultancy and services as well as management teams brings with it its own special set of clinical governance rules. Our medical director worked in the NHS with many years experience as a Clinical Director and lead for Risk Management. Our Managing Director is a Swedish Registered Nurse and our Lead Nurse is Modern Matron. We use this experience to formulate a working practice aimed at maintaining a high standard of clinical governance within the organisation. The basic formula is to choose good people, check they are who and what they say they are, monitor their work quality by feedback from every position, monitor complaints, encourage audit and listen to the network of colleagues.
Quality and Compliance
Scanloc operates a quality management system which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission as a Nursing Agency and are audited by them. We have a NHS PaSA framework agreement for the supply of locum doctors to the NHS and are audited by NHS PaSA.
Regular auditing of process, procedures, working practices as well as the information held on candidates ensures that we follow the rules specified by these bodies.
One of the prime purposes of our management system is to ensure that we identify and meet the needs of both our clients and candidates. We also seek to continually improve within all areas of our business. The management system also provides evidence that we can operate in a controlled and consistent manner, responding to the requirements of our clients whilst satisfying the needs of registered and accredited bodies.
Scanloc employs a Quality and Compliance Co-ordinator who ensures that all processes, procedures and documentation are compliant with client contracts and legislation. They also manage all aspects of quality assurance and quality control.
