We are currently looking for junior doctors to take up posts in the UK. In previous years we have recruited mainly specialist doctors, however our clients are increasingly asking us to find junior doctors as well. This need has come about partly because of the improvement in working hours which are now maximised to an average of 48 hours per week.

SHO Trust Grade Orthopaedics and Registrar (LAS) Paediatrics required
These posts are situated in a large, modern NHS Hospital in South East England. It is one of the largest trusts in the country, with 6000 staff serving a catchment area of 700 000 and 1 100 beds spread across three main hospital sites. The hospitals lie only one hour from London and two hours from Paris by train. The Trust has been accredited as a Cancer Unit for common cancers. Each hospital site has a well-equipped multidisciplinary Education Centre, including a library and a full programme of educational meetings. Hospital accommodation is available on site.
SHO Trust Grade posts in Orthopaedics: As soon as possible to 08/2010
The Trust is looking to fill SHO Trust Grade posts in Orthopaedics. Candidates should have least 12 months of Trauma & Orthopaedic experience. Responsibilities will include clerking patients, ordering the necessary investigations for emergency trauma admissions and the care of ward based patients. SHOs will also attend the daily Consultant-led Trauma meeting. Here, the admissions of the last 24 hours are presented and discussed by those on call.
This Trust has the largest Trauma & Orthopaedic unit in the South East, with 19 Trauma & Orthopaedic Consultants in the Directorate. Successful candidates will have ample opportunity to take part in research and audit projects. There are monthly Trust wide audit meetings and clinical conferences held via video link.
Salary £27,523 - £38,322 + 50% for on call commitment, making total salary £41,284 - £57,483 per year, depending on experience.

Specialty Doctor posts in Paediatrics: As soon as possible to 08/2010
The Trust is looking to fill 3 Specialty Doctors posts in Paediatrics. The new Paediatrics ward opened in 2005, comprising 25 general beds, 12 neonatal cots and 3 high dependency beds. The department has 5 consultants.
Successful candidates will receive training in general paediatrics and will be encouraged to initiate, participate in and publish work on clinical research.
Salary £36,443 - £67,959 + 20% for on call commitment, making total salary £43,731 - £81,550 per year, depending on experience.
