Large University Trust in the south east of England seeks specialists in Geriatrics and Stroke Medicine for full-time, permanent contracts


The Trust is seeking applications from outstanding candidates to join their dynamic and forward thinking Directorate. 

Join a team of 18 specialists (general medicine, geriatrics, stroke medicine) and their supporting staff in the further development of an already strong service committed to delivering NSF (National Service Framework) targets, the national stroke strategy and impressive locally commissioned improvements.

Posts are available in the following areas:
1. Stroke medicine
2. Orthogeriatric medicine
3. Falls and Emergency geriatric medicine
4. Heart failure and cardiovascular medicine

These specialists are required over the three different hospitals in the Trust.

In the first instance, informal discussions with the lead specialists can be arranged for suitable, interested specialists.

Salary will be between £74,000-£100,000 per annum depending on years of experience as a specialist.  In addition, there may be some costs paid towards relocation.

Private Hospital Group in London

Intensive Care Medicine

Three RMO doctors to work in Central London working for a prestigious, leading hospital group with an international reputation offering the very best in private healthcare.
The highly specialised critical care unit provides acute care and support for medical patients, complex surgical cases and multi organ failure. It has some of the most comprehensive acute clinical facilities available privately in the UK.

The RMOs work as part of a team mainly in a 12 bed critical care unit but also covering cardiac patients/ cardiac arrest team. Each work period is for 24 hours and there are 7 work period every 5 weeks.

Excellent opportunity for those wishing to spend time with further research/study whilst living and working in London. Grants may be available by hospital for research support study.
Suitable candidates will need to have at least 2 years experience post registration in anaesthetics and ATLS (advanced trauma and life support) certification.

Duration: 6-12 month contracts.
Salary per annum between £45,000 - £51,000.
Work 7 x 24 hr shifts within each 5 week period.
One hour to London Heathrow Airport
Accommodation is provided at £450 per month – very close to hospitals, central London location.
